Question about enforcement & request for change in Xbox policy

Hello. Im looking for an information request on a few things regarding enforcement.

Note: this is not an "appeal" type forum. Before responding to the forum, please actually read it first.

I had my account suspended nearly two years ago. Of course repeated suspensions eventually result in an account ban. This number I believe is arbitrary and nobody really knows but if you do that's great! But what I'm wondering is, if there's a type of cool
down on suspensions. For instance, if someone has been part of Xbox live for a decade and they get a suspension every two years (which with the way Xbox bans you just for looking at someone weirdly, that's generous.) Eventually they will rack up a lot of bans,
especially if they started in 2008 for instance and its the year 2020. So, would they eventually get banned because the number is high? Or do the 'strikes' kind of become irrelevant after a while?

Because for having a ban two years ago, I'd like to think that it wouldn't still count against me but then again, I've seen some crazy things in enforcement. As for the request in policy change goes, I do think that enforcement would have a LOT easier job
to do if they were more transparent with their accounts! The vast majority of people who get banned get messages reported so there's no reason why they cannot copy/paste that message so that the person knows why they get banned. Because I've made very good
change to myself to not be so mean on Xbox but I've noticed that cursing or general harassment isn't all that will get you banned. Though 'trash talk' is explicitly detailed to be OK by enforcement, I once took a long break from Xbox and when I returned, I
got into an argument calling the other player bad & told him that he should quit the game. That? Got me banned. Which leads to the other change. I do not believe that every single little tiny microscopic thing should get you banned. There should come a point
where silly reports are silly reports. It crowds the space and makes it to where serious reports (like how someone told me to **** recently) get reported and nothing gets done.

    :)

Force Gamertag Changes aren't really something the Policy Enforcement team does on request. That's like asking for the police to impound your car because you can't find a parking spot. But, if you're looking to change your gamertag without paying for it,
you could earn yourself some Xbox credit through Xbox Rewards (rewards.xbox.com) or Bing Rewards (rewards.bing.com)

Question about enforcement & request for change in Xbox policy

There is no documentation on the enforcement site to suggest that this type of cool down system exists. When you receive a ban your prior history is taken into account along with the severity of the offence. That's how they determine your punishment in the
    moment.
Here's a little more info on it.

The enforcement team makes their determination using the Code of Conduct you agreed to when you signed up for service. If they investigate a report and find nothing you won't get a ban. It's not an automated system.

Bowski covers what the current system is, but I just want to add that for any suggestions you have for changes you might find it more fruitful to post over at
Xbox Feedback. The Feedback site is used to gauge interest in everything from which games should be prioritised for backwards compatibility, to features on Xbox.com.

I don't know why I got banned it makes no sense I think my friends keep reporting me

    Hi there,

To get further details about a suspension issued by the Policy Enforcement team you will have to go to enforcement.Xbox.com and request a case review. The Enforcement team doesn't use these forums.

Unfortunately Xbox Support, the moderators here and us Ambassadors are unable to change or comment on the enforcement action taken on your account. You will need to contact Xbox Enforcement by requesting a case review on the their website below. All information
regarding suspensions can also be found there.

    Fix this!!

    Hey there.

Support can do nothing about enforcement actions, you'll want to ask the Policy Enforcement Team about it by requesting a case review over at
http://enforcement.xbox.com - they are the only ones who can provide details about (or reverse if found inappropriate) your enforcement action.
