    Question about downloading GoD games.

Thanks for both replies Question about downloading games :)

@ I've found that if I buy a GoD game on a UK account (I bought GTA 4) I can still play it on my US account even when I'm in the UK. So if it's only downloading the game on my console which is prohibiting me from playing then I'll probably get my friend
to purchase the game on his console, then I'll download it on my PC, move it over to my console and play. I would create a new account but I'm reluctant to let go of online ranks, Gamerscore and game saves Question about downloading games :p

[/quote]Content from LIVE is for the most part licensed to two things, the profile that bought it and the console it was first downloaded to. Avatar items being the big exception to this.

So on that first console any profile, no matter its region is going to be able to play the content. That is why your US account is able to play content purchased with a UK account.

Putting 360 content onto your PC is something Microsoft consider to be system tampering, so not something you should consider doing and definitely not something you should post about on the official forum. That wouldn't work anyway as the needed licenses would
    not be in place.

Buy content on a UK account and play it on your US account, that is perfectly acceptable. That way you get the DLC and games you want (with some exceptions as mentioned before) and get to keep all your gaming ranks.

    @Smwutches

Yes I get an error when I try to purchase on my own console. I'm aware that I'm responsible for my account but I'm pretty sure my friend isn't going to do anything to against the CoC. Also I've just checked that the game is available in my region, thanks
    for the heads up.

I'm gonna try it later today, will update with what happens.

    Question about downloading games

That's purely a matter of preference.

I personally like having digital games (no switching discs required), but others would not ever give up their physical collection of discs. And often physical copies can be found for cheaper and get discounted more often than digital ones.

There's no right answer to this. You have to decide for yourself what you prefer.

However, if you have a slow Internet connection, you will almost certainly want to go with physical copies. The games on Xbox One are large in size (the smallest I have is 4GB, but apart from that they range in size from 10GB to 40GB). On a slow Internet
connection this will take a long time. Or if you have a monthly usage cap, you will quickly use it up completely and your ISP might shut off your connection for the rest of the month or start charging you extra for the additional usage. These are important
    points to consider.

    Question about a download

    Hey there Juanes!

It really all depends on whether or not the game is available in your region. Which region are you physically located in?

Under normal circumstances, when there is a region discrepancy that prevents someone from being able to download a game, if the person changes their account region to match their physical location, they are then able to download the game.

Let us know your physical region and we'll check to see if the game is available there! ^_^
