Question about connecting headset transmitter to two different consoles

    Hi guys and gals

Is it possible to connect my turtle beach stealth 500x, which includes a transmitter and USB cable, to two different Xbox ones at the same time? I recently bought a hdmi switch that included an optical audio port but am not sure how this would work. Do
I just put the optical cable from the headset transmitter into the corresponding optical audio input on the switch? Would this allow me to use my headset on the current Xbox one I am using? What about the USB power cable on the headset? Where would plug that
    into?

    Thanks

    :)

August Xbox One update has broken my Turtle Beach x42 transmitter.

I just plugged my transmitter and optical cable into my XB1 turned the console on, the transmitter turned on then it turned off because I did not turn my headset on as well, the console did the latest August update and restarted, and then when everything
was done I turned on my headset which usually turns on the transmitter as well, the transmitter would not light up, as if no power is going to it, I tired un plugging the usb and plugging It back in, turning my headset off and on again, restarted the console,
and even tried to get It to work with my xbox 360 and still nothing happens, so now I have a headset with no in game audio, thanks microsoft. to get another transmitter I would have to buy the £100 headset again because nowhere sell the transmitter separately.
Has anyone else had this problem? Please let me know and tell me if there Is a fix, or tips to get the transmitter to work again.

I cannot hear my friends when we are in a party through my turtle beach headset

i have the same problem with same headset and im in preview program too, the only thing solve my problem is connecting my other wired headset into my controller while my wireless headset transmitter is connected to the console than i unplugged the wired
one when i started to hear my friends.

note: my other headset is Astro A50 im not sure if it will work if you use any headset but its worth trying.

Don't have access to the Insider Program.

Hey, try a complete discharge of your headset and re-pair it to the console and transmitter. I had to do this with my 800x Elites. Disconnect the transmitter from the console and unplug the usb from the headset if you were charging it. Then, hold the
power button down to turn off the headset (if it was on) and then hold the mute mic button for 15 seconds. Re connect the transmitter to the console and then pair the headset again. That should get you rolling!

If this does not work, try searching for updates with the headset connected to the console after the headset is recognised as your accounts mic again.

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max not connecting

    Hi PhantomThrone71,

    Greetings!

Thank you for publishing in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you're having trouble connecting your Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max headset to the USB transmitter. I'll be happy to assist you with this issue.

Firstly, please ensure that the USB transmitter is properly connected to your Xbox console or PC. You can try connecting it to a different USB port to see if that resolves the issue. Also, make sure that the USB transmitter is not obstructed by any objects or walls, as this can interfere with the signal.

If the USB transmitter is properly connected and not obstructed, please try resetting the headset and the USB transmitter. To reset the headset, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the LED on the headset turns off. To reset the USB transmitter, unplug it from the console or PC, wait for 10 seconds, and then plug it back in.

If the issue persists, you can try updating the firmware of the headset and the USB transmitter. You can download the latest firmware from the Turtle Beach website and follow the instructions provided to update the firmware.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be a hardware issue with either the headset or the USB transmitter. In this case, I would recommend contacting Turtle Beach support for further assistance with updating the firmware version of the headset.

    Thank you,

    Headset issue

This is from TB support page:

In order to play game audio, a wireless headset must be "paired" to its transmitter. The headset and transmitter are paired out of the box. The instructions below are only necessary if pairing appears to have been lost. This can happen if the headset is
turned off for a long time or is out of range.

When the headset and transmitter are paired, the transmitter's Power/Pairing LED will be solid. If this LED is "blinking" slowly (slowly fading in and out), it means the transmitter is not paired with the headset and game audio will not play through the
    headset.

The Transmitter sends game audio only. Chat is sent to the headset directly from the controller

    Pairing Instructions

    1) Turn off the headset by pressing the headset Power button for 3 seconds. The LED on the headset should be completely off when it is powered down.

    2) Unplug the transmitter's USB power cable to power it down. Wait 3 seconds and then plug the power cable back in. The transmitter's Power/Pairing LED should now be pulsing slowly on and off.

    3) Hold down the transmitter's Pair button for about 5 seconds. Release the Pair button when the transmitter's Power/Pairing LED begins to flash rapidly (twice per second). It should now be blinking quickly and steadily twice per second. If it is blinking
much more than 2 times per second, the button was held for much too long (15+ seconds), and you must start over from Step 2.

    4) With the headset still powered off, hold down the headset's Power button for about 6 seconds until you hear a second set of two beeps. The headset's Power LED should now be blinking rapidly like the transmitter (twice per second).

Note: The LED should not be double blinking (two quick blinks followed by a pause). If it is double blinking, then the button was not held long enough, and you must start over from Step 1.

    5) Wait about 10 to 15 seconds. The transmitter's Power/Pairing LED should be solid, and the headset's Power LED should now be flashing steadily once per second.

The headset is now paired to the transmitter and is ready to play game audio.

How do I know if my headset and transmitter are in pairing mode?

The transmitter has three different "flashing" patterns. It can be "Pulsing" on and off, which indicates that it is not paired. If you hold the PAIR button for 5 seconds, it will start blinking 2 times a second at an even rate. This is pairing mode.

If you hold the button upwards of 15 seconds, it will start blinking extremely quickly and the transmitter will leave pairing mode. This is not the correct pairing mode. Unplug the transmitter's USB cable if it's gone this far to "reset" the transmitter.

If the headset is paired and game audio is still not working, double check that all the connections are secure and plugged into the appropriate outputs according to the headset's user guide

    Head sets

    Howdy!

The headset should come with everything you need. The wireless headset models typically connect directly to the console and not through the controller.

If the headset that you want lists a wireless transmitter in the contents of the box, then you'd plug the transmitter into one of the USB ports on your console.

Some wireless headsets use the Xbox's built-in Wi-Fi Direct system and do not need a wireless transmitter. They sync up directly with the console (in the same manner that the controller does.)

    Hey DJ

I've tried to connect the headset without the transmitter twice with no success. Have the pairing modes both activated, two feet away. No success with the pairing.
