Question about buying Gold

My Gold subscription just ran out and I wanted to get it renewed, so I got a code to put some money on my Xbox to buy another 12 month Gold subscription. However, even though I have enough money on my account to pay for the subscription,
when a press Next, it still asks me to pick a payment option for it to automatically renew my subscription for each year. My question is if I add a new payment option for this, will it automatically charge me for next year as well as the next 12 months or
can I cancel it so that I only pay for the next 12 months?

Hi i was thinking on buying 2 months of gold membership but i ve go 2 question about the free game offered:

1.- Can i get the game whenever i want or it must be a specific day?

2.- For buying 2 months i ve the right to have 2 games or as many as i want (while im gold member) ?

Hello, I am going to Basic training for the National Guard soon, this takes 3 months (I think, not sure of exact dates). I am just wondering if there is a way to temporarily pause my membership (I bought a whole year) in order to save some money.

 

It will only charge you for the first 12 months. You would need to turn off auto-renewal before the 12 months ends so it doesn't automatically charge you for another 12 months.
