    Question about backwards game compatibility


    I was looking at the Xbox one S and the approved backwards compatible games. I have games for the 360 (the current console is still working well enough but the games are getting rarer to find in stores) and a handful I play are not appearing on the list
    (Skyrim, D3, Deadpool, just to name a few). I paid a lot of money for the games I do have of the past few years I've had my 360. So my question is, will I have to buy these games again if I buy the Xbox One S or will I be able to play their disks on the system?
    Is there another option besides those two?

    Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

    Question about backwards compatibility.

    Now we get to play Xbox 360 games on Xbox one. Well, most of them but i have a question. Will we still get to play them online when the Xbox 360 gets shutdown like the Original Xbox?

    Generally if the games have a 360 version and a One version, they most likely will not be made backwards compatible and you would need to purchase the One version in order to play them. Otherwise, they'd have to be backwards compatible in order to be able

    You will need to make sure that the games in question are on the backwards compatibility list of games. Unfortunately not all games are backwards compatible.
