Question about account.

My question is i just sent my xbox one back to microsoft for a replacement since it wouldn't turn on but since i couldn't turn it on i couldn't format the hard drive so my account is still on it, should i reset my password or should it be fine since it's
all ***** ect password is over 30 random characters long.

If it hasn't started, then you should probably call support back about it. They should start the investigation as soon as you call.

My account was recently accessed by an unauthorized party, I recovered it, changed info etc. and talked to a service rep on the phone who said an investigation would happen and my account would be frozen for 3 weeks or so. My account hasn't been frozen yet
though and I wondered if it normally takes a few days (been about 36 hours since I talked to him) or if there was a problem with the investigation starting. Any info would be appreciated.

 

They will wipe the hard drive themselves as they will probably send you a replacement console instead of repairing yours.

I'd reset your password though,just to be safe.
