    Question about a Xbox Feature


    I am sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, I am usually not on the forums, But I have a question if their is a feature for the Xbox and that I can set up. Siege has an update tomorrow and ill be at school when the update launches. I would like for the
    update to begin WHILE at school, but you have to start the game for the update to begin. Long story short, is their a way I can start the update from my phone or computer while at school for my game on the xbox at home?

    actualy every account ont the xbox you have set as home can benefit from your gold membership

    Question about xbox play anywhere feature

    What i know:

    - If i buy sea of thieves from the microsoft store i can play the game on both the PC and Xbox one.

    - Also, anyone i selected as my family (my wife) on my home console shares my xbox live membership.

    - Anyone playing on my home console also has access to all my games.

    My question:

    - Could i play sea of thieves with my wife if i play on my profile on my PC and she plays on my home xbox with her profile?

    - ALso can we communicate with each other or other players using headphones considering we are each playing on a different platform?

    You can play at the same time like you are thinking but not in the same match there is no cross platform capabilities at this point in time.
    In the capabilities section for the game sea of thieves there is a mention for the following:

    • Xbox Live cross-platform multiplayer
    • Xbox Live cross-platform co-op

    This means that it should be possible to play a multiplayer co-op game of sea of thieves with my wife, her on the xbox and me on the PC. I dont have any digital games that have the mention "xbox play anywhere" otherwise i would test this myself.
