Question about a account that was banned

hi, I'm Malcolm and I got a question about my account, I was banned 2 years ago for I think 1 week and lately I wanted to go on ambassador but it's says I've been removed because of the ban 2 years ago. Also I can't be added to the Xbox preview program because
of this. But is it possible to go back on ambassador as I have not done nothing since that incident, it's ok if it's not possible but just wondering am I removed from ambassador for life and will I ever be able to have the preview program as I've been banned
in the past.?

Hypothetical question about account bans and game sharing

Im not entirely sure. I can't see a live ban effecting gamesharing. I'd also imagine a hardware ban for serious infractions would target the console in question not a home system. Otherwise people using modded consoles would just get a "burner console" to use like a disposable phone to protect their more expensive modified console.

I wouldn't gameshare with someone like that though. At the end of the day your profile is on a potential strangers machine in this example with your reputation and personal info only protected by a password on a machine they have physical control of. Heck setting their console as your home requires this individual to log in once. Assuming this person is potential hundreds of miles away how keen are you to give your password to a potential stranger? Even though it's only one login that's plenty of time to change your password on you and walk off with your profile. Maybe you'd get it back from MS but why chance it? I'd never do it with someone I didn't know and trust in real life.

 

Hypothetical question about account bans and game sharing

Just wondering, lets say I decided to game share with someone, and set their Xbox as my Home Xbox and they did the same for me, but it ends up I misjudged that person who turned out to be a complete monster online and who did something you would expect a massive banhammer for, like getting triggered and then going on a 5 minute racial slur spree.

What are the various kinds of bans that could come into effect for that person and do any affect the other person game sharing with that idiot, which would be me as their Xbox is my Home Xbox?

(all hypothetical, I do not have that level of trust with anyone to game share my account which is purely digital, but I'd like to know the answer anyway if there is one)

As xbox Ambassador you should be able to show that you understand the Code of Conduct and apply it. The program it's not only to lend support but to reflect the values that the xbox live community stands for.
