Query about Xbox Play Anywhere on PC titles coming to Xbox Consoles later this year

Thanks for getting back to me. I know how XPA works, but it is currently only on one platform (PC). I want to know if the progress I make before it goes to other platforms will be transferred as the XPA might not be put into place until it is running on
multiple platforms.

If the game is an Xbox play anywhere game, then yes your save will transfer over to console if you log in using the same account.

Hi, sorry you are experiencing issues. Not all xbox games will play on PC. Only titles that come under the play anywhere category can be played on PC is they are xbox versions. You can find out more information Play

So yes only play anywhere titles work cross platform with pc

You will have to buy the games otherwise or if ita a gamepass title buy gamepass

If you are talking about games on someone's else's account no as it's a violation for you to use his account nor does gameshare extend to pc

What particular games are you talking about?

There are "Xbox Play Anywhere" titles, which are released both on Xbox One and PC. So if you buy it once on Xbox One or PC, you can play it on both.

However, not all Xbox games are "Play Anywhere" titles. A list of
Play Anywhere games that work both on Xbox and Windows 10 PC is here.

If it's not a Play Anywhere title, you won't be able to play that Xbox game on your PC. And Play Anywhere also only works as a download. You can't use the Xbox disc on your PC to play the game.

As for compatibility with modern Joysticks: As long as the game supports DirectInput (which almost all modern games use), you should be good.
