Quantum Break reviews are coming in and they are looking......

Just finished it on Hard this morning. Keep moving all the time. When he sets off the big ones wait until they start and run to opposite end and you are out of range. I enjoyed the story a lot. Hoping for a sequel

Quantum Break code for Windows 10 issues

Hey Steve! All of the Quantum Break codes are redeemable on an Xbox One but they are all intended for a PC download of Quantum Break. When you install Quantum Break on the PC do you get an specific error codes or messages?

 

Feel a bit stupid not trying to use my powers now, my first instinct is always run away from danger lol.

Just saw I've got 98% completion, I tried making sure I looked around everywhere but obviously must have missed bits. Would have helped if you could backtrack because if you walk pass a point you couldn't go back to that area then I would have had to start
that level again as I want to find everything, but later on I stopped doing that and carried on with the story.

 

Im loving the game tbh i wouldnt listen to reviews half of them talk rubbish IGN normally give a game bad scores if its too hard for them

 

@dewood. You will find certain collectables can only be obtained by doing the different timeline. They are totally different narratives in some emails and radio shows.

 

Is there any future content planned for this game?

Rippen I don't think the collectible are in different places at all, the content of the collectible changes depending on path but not location, all collectibles can be grabbed on one play through

 

I think I figured out something I despise the most about QB now that reviews are in. For the most part I don't care too much for what a Review says but in this case I have to agree with
(note I highly disagree with him on many other things), I think he nails it.

At best separate both the "cut-scenes" and actual Game and you get two poorly or very bad Media Productions.

The actual Game-play of QB at best is a 3rd Person-cover-based Shooter but with broken or non-intuitive controls or concepts (ie cant shoot blind fire from cover in a 3rd Person cover-shooter). In addition, "puzzles" are simplistic at best in design (not solution)
and don't make sense within the given rules of the Games own rules (ie time travel to open a locked door but not at other times).

Now the worst of what I see in QB. The "cut-scenes" aka poorly written, filmed and would fail faster then gasoline to put out fire given trying against what is already a slew of poorly written shows on TV. This is a very, very, very, very poor excuse to insert
a Video because Game-play and Game-Narrative failed in the actual Game itself. It's also a very sloppy excuse to simply film and distribute 1080p (lol) Video in replace of actually trying to render In-Game Graphics.

I guess maybe I just have come to understanding that I left that dead Medium known as TV long ago. Now way do I want to passively watch TV in place actual Game-play or even a Game's actual Cut-scenes.

To all that enjoy it, have fun but I won't be buying or playing this "Game".

I absolutely hated it and I don't think I've ever been more regretful about buying a game on release date than I have with QB. I probably won't buy any Microsoft first party games again until after reviews come in.

 

@genchy I can absolutely guarantee that a second play through is required to get all collectables. I did Hardline first and picked up everything and then went back after I finished and did PR. For example there is a collectable on the bridge section that
doesn't exist on my hardline play through because a different set of events are taking place on the bridge. Yes collectables in most cases are in the same place as previous timeline but because the narrative is different that are classed as a seperate collectable.

Onto that Angry Joe video who is a complete d bag. I never found myself trying to jump onto anything I wasn't meant to or not being able to use my powers on something I thought I should. His video is for entertainment and he fails at that. I'm not surprised
he didn't like the TV parts. Him and his IQ starved mate are like those people that go to the cinema and talk all the way through it then wonder why they missed bits or didn't like it.

I don't regret buying this game at all. I'm still glad I played this instead of The Division.

 

Well the guide im using is for the PR style and im doing a HL run and there hasn't been any differences yet in where they are placed, its just been the different narrative and the different ones don't count as extra If you collected them in the original
run even if they are different. The only ones that are registering as any different are ones I missed first time.

 

I picked up ones that I found first time and it counted as new on some of them.
