Quantum Break PC Code Error

When I try to redeem by Quantum Break code (free with XB1 purchase) from the Xbox app on Windows 10, I receive the following error. How can I get the copy of my game?

Hey Steve! All of the Quantum Break codes are redeemable on an Xbox One but they are all intended for a PC download of Quantum Break. When you install Quantum Break on the PC do you get an specific error codes or messages?

code is it that you are receiving? We'd like to troubleshoot this with you, we need this information to do so.

No, the Xbox app. That is what phone support said to do. Just tried store app and it is downloading as I write this.
