Quantum Break FAQ!

Hey everyone! We are extremely excited for the launch of Quantum Break on Xbox One & Windows 10, and we hope you share that excitement!

To prepare each of you to take on Monarch Solutions and prevent the world from facing imminent disaster from a fracture in time, we've put together a little FAQ to cover any questions each of you may have.



Q: What kind of game is Quantum Break?

A: Developed by Remedy Games, Quantum Break is 3rd Person Action Shooter with an emphasis on utilizing 'Time Powers' to progress through the game. To deliver a great story telling experience, Microsoft Studios and Remedy Games also partnered up with
Lifeboat Productions to produce a stellar casted in-game live-action show that players can enjoy during Quantum Break's campaign.

Throughout the game, players will find themselves making crucial decisions that decides how the rest of the campaign will play out. Choose wisely!



Q: What kind of events occur that lead up to Quantum Break's story?

A: Due to a failed time travel experiment in the beginning of the game, time became fractured and is slowly breaking down. This manifests as stutters: time anomalies in which time stops and skips forward and backward violently and unexpectedly.



Q: Does the in-game show continue the story being told during the campaign?

A: Sort of. The story you receive in-game will help you understand the heroes of the game, while the live-action show will focus on helping the player understand the villains. The choices you make during the campaign will affect how the live-action
show plays out, so make your choices carefully!

Note: Players can choose to stream the live-action show, or download all of the chapters to play locally off of your Xbox One console.



Q: Time control? That's awesome! How many Time Powers can I expect to be able to utilize?

A: There are 6 powers you will learn throughout the campaign. These abilities include:

• Time Stop: Hit enemies with Time Stop to slow them down and supercharge your bullets. Inside the Stops area of effect, time runs considerably slower and bullets fired into the area of effect gain power.
  
• Time Dodge: Quickly move a short distance as time briefly slows down during and after the Time Dodge (when transitioning into aim), allowing the player to pull off spectacular enemy kills.
  
• Time Shield: Create a shield around yourself to protect from incoming bullets. Great for reloading your weapon under enemy fire. Time Shield also acts as a force field pushing away enemies near you when you trigger the shield.
  
• Time Blast: Release a fatal Time Blast upon enemies, who are knocked backed, slowed and damaged by the explosion.
  
• Time Vision: Highlights enemies, ammo boxes and explosives while you are standing still.
  
• Time Rush: Once active, Time Rush slows down time and allows you to relocate to confuse enemies. During Time Rush, the certain enemies are vulnerable to your melee Takedowns.

Q: Does Quantum Break have multiplayer?

A: Quantum Break is a single player focused game.



Q: When will Quantum Break become available?

A: Quantum Break will release on 4/5/2016 for Xbox One & Windows 10.



Q: Can I pre-load Quantum Break on my Xbox One?

A: Yes! Pre-ordering Quantum Break will begin the download for the game, and will unlock as soon as Quantum Break releases.



Q: What are the system requirements for Quantum Break on Windows 10?


A: You can find the system requirements on our

Q: If I play Quantum Break on my Xbox One, will I later be able to pick up where I left off on Windows 10?

A: Yes! As long as you play both versions while connected to Xbox Live, your save will sync to the cloud.

Q: What's included in the Quantum Break Xbox One bundle?

A: The Xbox One Special Edition “Quantum Break” Bundle will be available for $349 USD and includes: the Xbox One 500GB Cirrus White console, a Cirrus White Xbox One wireless controller with 3.5mm headset jack, a 14-day Xbox Live Gold membership trial,

Quantum Break Free Windows 10 Code missing

Just to clarify did you purchase the physical disc version of Quantum Break? Also, did you purchase Quantum Break from the Microsoft Store? If so, you will not be receiving a code for the Windows 10 version of Quantum Break. For further details check out
