So Whats Next?

Destiny, The Division, FF 14, ESO, Quantum Break, Lords Of The Fallen. I was looking forward to The Witcher3 also but it got delayed.

 

lol c'mon toh .. that's not always the case these days. delays often do very little for a game's end product. that's the skepticism. you just never know. just because a game is delayed doesn't guarantee anything really as far as quality goes in the end.

 

Alan Wake, Max Payne, Max Payne 2...nope not worried. Take your time Remedy we'll be here.

 

I have no problem with this at all. Plenty of games to play until then.

 

Just to clarify, some imposter stated the game was being delayed a month ago. Today its coming from MS, so its official now.

Phil Spencer stated on that IGN podcast last year that the lineup for this year was stacked and some things would need to be pushed to 2016. Not surprised it was QB, with Halo. Forza and Tomb Raider QB was going to be the odd man out. You also have to take
into account marketing deals with COD, Assassins Creed, and whatever MS moneyhats from EA.

 

Alan Wake took what seemed like forever to come out and when it finally did, I wasn't the least bit disappointed.

 

Anyone worrying about QB should just look at who is making it. Remedy hasn't made a bad game, they are a top tier developer. Phil Spencer said himself that they had too many games coming in the fall. Forza, Halo, Tomb Raider, COD, AC...ect. QB would have
just gotten lost in the shuffle like Sunset Overdrive did. Better to Use Sony's model and release games through the year than to have them crammed into the last quarter.

Not all Microsoft games are released in Fall.Just get some informations.

 

Deac not saying it is delayed because it was broken... just with the recent release of games to get them out either on time or for a certain time, you do have to admit most of the larger titles have had issues that might have or could have or should have
been taken care of prior to release.

Now if they are delaying the to be released with fewer other options at that time, I can see that happening... but of a major title like QB is delaying its own release because 5 indie games and a remake of a last gen game are coming out...

I just prefer games to be released at some type of level of completeness. a few bugs are always expected... but nothing like what some have seen this gen so far

 

Who ever thinks 'This will be the next Watchdog' (which btw isn't a bad game) is an idiot tbh. Firstly the game is nothing like Watch Dogs and secondly Remedy haven't released a bad game yet, so I've got no reason to believe Quantum Break won't be good.
If people control their own expectation and hype, then maybe you won't be so disappointed if a game doesn't live up to your own hype.

I'm personally looking forward to this game, sad it got delayed but better to delay then release unfinished.

 

It will be fine...remember Duke Nukem was delayed for a long time....

 

Remedy is absolutely fantastic studio, all they have done is make solid games. Max Payne and Alan Wake were fantastic. There should be little doubt that this game will be entertaining at a minimum.

 

I just hope for a looooooooonnnnngggg story campaign (40 hours minimum).....
