    Hello,

    i have problem with servicing my controller, but let me add short introduction:

    I have always loved my Xbox 360 controller but from very first moment I took the Xbox One from the box I felt like you went down with the quality of materials and manufacturing. Well, the new one just feels like cheap plastic and the all the parts are not
    put together as precisely as the previous one, Feels more fragile... just my subjective opinion...

    Problem with the controller:

    Even thou I was dealing with it gently and like with my previous from 360. Now the left stick just broke down and sometimes it doesn`t react when I change the direction, specially while or after i pressing LS.

    Problem with servicing / web page:

    It just doesn`t work after i enter Controller ID (14 digit below the barcode) - just something like An Error occures ... appears behind the window, i cannot even read it.

    What should I do now?

    Maybe you want me to buy the elite one... Quality of the standard controller and replacement :D i dont know...but at the moment I`m really dissapointed.

    Left analog stick now drifts.

    just bought a replacement controller for my Day One controller and the build quality of the new one is much higher. It feels way more solid.

    I need to send in my Xbox one elite controller to get fixed. At the device service and repair in the elite controller thing it wants to send me replace accessories not an actual
    elite controller. There's a replacement standard controller. Do I use the standard replacement and I send my elite controller and they'll send me an elite controller or a standard? I'm just confused, am I overlooking something? I've read other post about broken
    elite controllers but the answered ones just have a link to the Device service and repair page or something along the lines of that.

    Sorry you are having issues with your controller.

    Is your controller over 90 days old? If so it would probably be best to go ahead and replace it with a new one. To have it repaired would probably cost just as much once you factor in the shipping and repair costs.

    Is it a standard controller or an Elite controller?

    If it’s standard you’ll have to replace the controller unfortunately. If it’s an elite you can get it serviced or replaced if it’s still under warranty.

    I wanted to add that this is the Day-One edition controller. If it got replaced, it'd probably get replaced with a standard Xbox One controller, which is irritating.

    Hi Fellow gamer,

    If the above suggestion doesn't work and it is a standard controller. Unfortunately, you will need to replace controller. Standard controller come with a 90 day warranty. Hope this helps.

    Xbox Labs Controller broken out of box

    Un-freaking-believable.

    History says if I do this I will be shipped a standard replacement controller (my roommate used Xbox Labs a long time ago, got one with broken shoulder buttons, got a standard controller as a replacement). A quick review of the warranty also says if I choose to process a repair with them I will receive a refurbished replacement.

    I want the CUSTOM ENGRAVED controller I ordered.

    I paid $80, how do I go about initiating a replacement that will get me the controller I ordered and not an standard black controller that I could get for under $50 at the local store? Barring that, how do I get a refund?
