Quality control? What happened?

Has anyone else had just great time with their xbox ones? I have been an owner about a month and I haven't played a single game yet. When I got it the disc reader was broken. Sent it to be repaired and 2,5 weeks later got it back. Guess what; I started the
console and after 10 minutes it started to make [Mod Removed] of weird noises like screeching and clanking. Then it started to shutdown because of overheating and I have to send it to be repaired again since the cooling system bailed on me.

What is up with this

Bad quality

What is your TV and what cable are you using?

 

Quality Controller

I've gone through 3 in about 4 years...don't know what to tell ya. The only issue I've ever had with them is the bumpers being damaged from the controller being dropped, and the analog sticks pulling to one side.

 

That's some bad luck right there. Quality on my Day one console has been superb! Over a year now and still quiet as a mouse.

 

Never had a problem. My XB has actually been turned on for more than 99% of the time I have had it.

I think I know what the deal is tho. Seems to only happen to people with generic silver accounts with gamer scores under 250

 

My day one console made a grinding noise so instead of sending it off to MS I just took it back to retail and they swapped it for a titan fall edition there and then, so I recommend that if you still have a retail guarantee to go down that rout, much faster.

 

I tend to agree with Hellnback ref silver complainers with really bad fortune where Ones are concerned.

 

The one thing that has worked with any consistency is the actual hardware in the system. It's the software that keeps failing me. The OS, bugs in games.....and well, what ever seems to always go on server side with MS that causes XBL to act up if not go
down.
