    PX4 Headset chat not working

I just recently got a PX4 headset and have the stereo headset adapter that goes into the xbox one controller. I also have the cords to set up the sound from the TV. However, I don't have the cable that came with the headset that goes from the headset into
the adapter itself so chat will work. I bought a 2.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable hoping it would suffice. The cord fits into the headset and adapter like its supposed to but chat still doest not work. Is there another cord I have to buy to get chat to work
or is there another problem? Also, I already did the controller update. Thanks in advance for any help.

    :)

Turtle Beach PX4 - Game Audio cutting out

I picked up the PX4 over Christmas and just got around to trying them out. Initially experienced the same problems as most have described here.

To resolve the issue, I upgraded the controller software while leaving the PX4 + Adapter and chat cable plugged in. After the update, I'm no longer seeing sound cut off sporadically. However, there was still some echo'ing of the sound etc. This appears
to happen primarily due to the fact that the game audio is transmit to the PX4 wirelessly and then again from the adapter (on controller). The simplest solution was to first turn down the PX4 volume via the dial on the headset, and then hit the chat-audio
button (bottom left) on the adapter until it was maxed out (thus cutting out all game audio from controller completely). The volume controls on the adapter still let you control the chat volume independantly... so you can now use that to adjust it to your
liking. Next, adjust the game volume via the dial on the headset and you're done.

Chat audio and game audio appears to be working perfectly after the above procedure.

    Enjoy.

Xbox One and Turtle Beach PX4's

I purchased the headset adapter to go with a new pair of PX4's. While waiting for the PX4's to come in, I was using my old X12's. When using the chat adapter, its almost like the buttons do not work correctly. Chat volume is not what it states it is. When
I raise/lower the game volume, the headset combines both the game volume and the chat volume, and the chat gets drowned out. I used the chat volume on the adapter itself and raised it all the way up. No matter what I do, no combination of playing with settings
will allow me to raise the chat volume, and lower the game volume (specifically, background music is the worse)

So, I got my PX4's in, hoping these would be different. Not the case. Does the exact same thing as my X12's.

When raising the "game volume" on the headset itself, its like it controls the "bass" and deep sounds of the game. When I turn the "chat voume" up, it raises both the chat and the game sounds (i.e. music, shooting sounds, etc) Any time there is shooting
or music playing, I cannot hear the chat.

I updated the controller when I got the adapter. Has any one experienced similar issues? Are there recommended settings on the console itself that I am missing that will help?

Turtle Beach PX4 - Game Audio cutting out

I'm having the same problem with PX4s. They work perfectly on my PS4, and they work fine on my Xbox One until I plug them into the headset adapter so I can chat. Then they just start cutting off all the time. Not impressed after having to spend £19 on the
    adapter.

Xbox One stereo headset adapter/game sound

Im using turtle beach px4's and don't seem to be having the issue. I have to turn on the game sound 'on the adapter' and then turn up the volume for the game sound on the headset, The chat volume is a good level, but obvisouly I can't have the game level
a really loud setting as the third party headset is amplified allot more than the headset Microsoft produce.

Px4 Headset, party voice not working

    Hi there,

    it's me again...

I did further check and here is my findings:

If I use the PX4 without plugging it the controller, I can hear my friend. As soon as I plug it, I cannot hear them.

Which mean that the voice works via the Bluetooth connection of the headset but not via controllers.

The original headset send and receive the voice via the controllers.

    There are two solutions:

-1 my cable between headset and controller cannot receive the voice and can only send it as my friends are able to hear me.

-2 The PX4 has to receive the voice from the Bluetooth and not via the controllers, which mean it's a software issue.

Did anyone else is using that Headset and has it working in party?

Did anyone had that issue with another headset and fix it? if yes, how?

Is this a known issue that MS will fix in a next coming update?

    Regards

    Favorite headset for gaming?

There has to be a list somewhere of headsets that are going to be fully compatible (audio AND voice) with the next-gen consoles. I heard Turtle Beach is coming out with the PX4s that will work right off the bat with the PS4. It is releasing the same day.
I also heard no headset will work with the Xbox One until they release that adapter which isn't coming until 2014.
