PvZGW2 save data lost after reinstalling

I had PvZGW2 on my Xbox and the last time I played it was a while ago, at least a couple of years. I wanted to go back and play it again so I put my disc in but it didn’t work. No biggie it’s on sale for 5 bucks so I bought it digitally. I downloaded the game and when I opened it I had a fresh account and all my progress was gone. Is there any way to get it back? I downloaded and played it on the same account I used previously.
