PvZ the best value on the X1?..... Yup!

So yet more free DLC for this game (as a thread was started a couple days ago)... I feel this game is by far the best value for gamers on the X1 so far! The game itself is entertaining, and with all the extra's they keep throwing at it.... woot! I'm downloading
the latest update as I type. Others take note........

Plant Vs Zombies or Tomb Raider

Hmmm, I loves Tomb Raider on the 360 but it didn't have any replay value (wasn't to fond of that MP mode they had). So with that I will say PvZ: Garden Warfare Cheaper, addictive, fun and definitely has replay value.

Thats purely opinion. I could argue that Peggle is a better value. But glad you are happy with the free DLC.

 

Yup, it is my opinion. I'm looking at it from the extra content that they keep providing..... $40 game that keeps getting new maps, character upgrades for no extra cost, great!

i like PvZ as well .. definitely much better than even i thought.

£35 in the UK, the reason I haven't bought it is because I think its expensive, to put into context I can get titanfall for the same £35.

 

EnenDaveyBoy, out of interest what makes Titanfall better value? Both games are pretty much multiplayer only, both shooters. All I know is I've played both, Titanfall I didn't even hit first generation, PvsZ I'm itching to play again and again.

Just because it has a comical look doesn't make it any less of a game, I would have to agree with the OP - awesome game and support from the developer.

 

There's new dlc?! Thanks for the heads up op!! I love PvZ with a passion. It's such a fun and addicting game.

 

@mark, my opinions are based on playing titanfall and watching plus read reviews on PvZ, so its by no means good, but this is my reasoning.

Titanfall maps are bigger, more complex, more tectureal

Titanfall class setup if far more complex

titanfal weapon setup is more complex

titanfall has mechs

Titanfall is far more complex game than PvZ, which IMO dictates a higher price.

I am not saying PvZ is less fun to play or more or less addicitive, if thats the case then trials fusion should be the same price as PvZ, which I guess it is if you take into account DLC.

PvZ in the US is £20, in the UK its £35, imo thats a bit of an imbalance in itself.

£35 is what I am paying for AAA titles, is PvZ a triple A title? fun maybe, good for a laugh possibly, would it keep me entertained for a month none stop, I very much doubt.

(Titanfall was good but my main issue is matchmaking my other issue is all the game modes play the same, and its no longer fun unless you play with people, so although I got my monies worth I don't play it often now)

I appriciate other people have deeper wallets than me, and everyone has different preference, but at present its not for me, even if it was £20.

I don't know what the rules are to dictate something as being a AAA title but you pretty much summed up what I disliked about Titanfall right there - it feels like we've all played it a million times before and I guess that's what I like about PvsZ - it's
just that little bit different.

Honestly I hope they put it out on Games for Gold, I'm sure a lot of people that have discounted the game as being sub par would change their minds if they gave it a go for free.

 

@mark, I am not saying its sub par, I am saying in my mind isn't worth the same as titanfall.

in your mind your saying the other way round and i respect that to.

(I didn't realise all the dlc was free, but it wouldn't change my mind)
