PUZZLE HOSTAGE

I'm having the same issue. I hadn't connected it to the ads yet but you're 100% right. I hope there is a fix other than paying for "no ads"

keep collecting the trophies, solving riddles, and smashing peguins/balloons/and Harley heads until you have enough for each hostage. here are the numbers

2nd hostage-80

3rd hostage-160

4th hostage-240

5th hostage-320

6th hostage-400

very timing consuming and challenging at times. some of the trophies and riddles require certain gadgets that are unlocked thru the story and other side missions so make sure you complete all of those before tackling the hostage puzzles

You have to keep collecting the trophies and solving the riddles and once you've reached a certain amount of riddles solved (I'm sure someone will post the exact numbers, sorry I don't remember), you'll receive more information on the next hostage's location,
then you'll be able to access the "puzzle box" again...

Just keep getting as many riddler trophies and riddles as you can. It does unlock after a certain amount. Can't seem to find the amounts online at the moment though

EDIT: Found something:

1st hostage- basically given to you, you don't need any challanges.

2nd hostage- 80 secrets

3rd hostage- 160 secrets

4th hostage- 240 secrets

5th hostage- 320 secrets

Final Hideout- 400 secrets

I did them all already anyway on my original Hard playthrough and everything. Just repeating them to get this chievo.

This is the 1st one again and after crumbling the wall you walk through the riddler door into a corridor.

In the corridor....

Door back out the way you came in

Door in front to do the hostage puzzle.

Broken window above the door to the hostage room (which is simply broken from where I zip lined out from the room on my original gameplay).

Gotta feeling that the riddler stuff doesn't go towards the gameplus % / this chievo %?

But

I wouldn't mind clarification from someone who's done it etc
