Putting my Game Pass Ultimate account on my child's W10 PC

The family has an XBox and I subscribe as GP Ultimate there. We all use the XBox and my daughter is a child on my Family account there with her own Gamer Tag. We are playing Minecraft Dungeons together from Game Pass most recently. She now wishes to play
Minecraft Dungeons on her PC in her room online with her friends using her Gamer Tag and the stuff she's acquired while we've played Minecraft Dungeons together.

I installed my Game Pass onto her Windows 10 PC and installed Minecraft Dungeons, but from there we get stuck. The game only recognizes me and my Gamer Tag. If she tries to enter her Gamer Tag data into Minecraft Dungeons to log in, she is told she doesn't
own the game and immediately sent to the Windows Store.

Is there a family way around this so she can use her own Gamer Tag, but still be tied to my Game Pass Ultimate?

Have you tried 'Designate a home Xbox'?

Press the Xbox button
 to open the guide.
Select Profile & system >
Settings > General > Personalization, and then select
My home Xbox.
Do either of the following:
- Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.
- Select Remove this as my home Xbox to remove the designation.

When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your previous home Xbox. In other words, when you switch your home
Xbox, access to your content comes with you to your new home Xbox, and anyone signed in can enjoy it. Your previous home Xbox will still give your friends and family access to your stuff when you’re signed in to it.

Converted my gold/pass in ultimate and I'm now covered for a while with it. Will check also the PC version later this evening after updating my W10 version as required. Such an amazing deal.

Hello Laura, this message appears because your child's account is a child and it is not enable for purchases, in which case you can put your child's account in a Family and enable the purchase of the subscription for their account.

The other way to uprgrade from Live Gold to Game Pass Ultimate would be to buy a 25-digit Game Pass Utimate card and redeem it in your child's account, so the time he has of Gold will convert to Ultimate.
