    Last night I was download "Star Wars: Battlefront" on my Xbox One S. When I decided to drift to sleep, I put my Xbox One into standby mode so it would continue downloading the game overnight. This morning I turned on my Xbox and under My Games & Apps, there
    was no installation progress bar, and the tile didn't show up in "recently installed". However, it was showing in the "Games" section of My Games & App, acting like a 100% installed game. When I clicked on the tile, it took me to the "ready-to-start" state
    of the game (darth vader in Hoth), with the progress bar in-game saying it's only 32% installed.

    There's no installation progress bar and it's not letting me continue my installation, neither from My Games & Apps nor from the title listing in the store (this isn't the first time this has happened, but last time i was able to continue my "Battlefront
    2 Multiplayer Beta" installation through the store. My internet is really slow and I don't want to lose 20 hours worth of installation.

    Again, the Xbox is saying that the game is completely installed when it hasn't, and I can't find a way of continuing the installation. From what I can tell from the progress bar in-game, the installation is paused on 32%.

    Installing game, stopped at 1% but says ready to start. When clicked to start, receive an error message that says...an update needs attention, go to games and apps and see what it needs. There is no indication there. Only the same tile for MKX that says
    Ready. Help!!

    installing games

    while in installing the first few percent it will be numbered then while it says ready to start the bar where it says ready to start showing what has downloaded so far. you can be play during that time as well.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are trying to launch game while it is installing. We recommend to wait until the games are completely installed. As this has many titles. Personally i have noticed also on a lot of games when it says ready
    to start, the game doesn't start. After it installs then it starts just fine.

    G'day capadel! Are you installing from a disc or are you downloading the game? Xbox One games are pretty big, so they'll take a while to download and install to the console. The time it takes to download from the Marketplace will also depend upon your connection
    speed. However, part way through any game installation a notice will pop up saying it's ready to play! The experience will be limited until the full installation completes, but you can get started while it continues to install in the background.

    Ah yes, that’s true. It would notify you with ‘[name of game] is ready to start’. Then you can play while the rest of the game is installing in the background but as you say, it’s quite pointless with certain games as it’s just a loading screen a lot of the time, waiting for everything to complete.

    And in some cases, even when its ready to start you might have access to the menus and one specific mode you may not care for. I would just let it all install first
