    Hi,

    I'm trying to play Halo Infinite with some peeps. They are on Xbox, I am on PC. I just want to enable push-to-talk because they can hear my keyboard inputs over the mic. I am discovering that the push-to-talk function on Game Bar will not recognize any inputs when "recording" for the input. There's NO push-to-talk function for the console companion.

    Why does Microsoft hate PC users? Why? You own Windows. You own Xbox. Why do you have to punish me for using a PC and wanting to use keyboard and mouse?

    Every single question I've seen about this gets some bum answer like "what button can you press on controller to use mic?" I'M USING A KEYBOARD AND MOUSE.

    "Have you tried jumping through 20 hoops?"
    YES. I HAVE. NOTHING WORKS BECAUSE THE PEOPLE MAKING THESE APPS DIDN'T BOTHER TO MAKE IT WORK.

    It's honestly just disgusting that in the year 2021 I can't use push-to-talk with a mouse & keyboard with your programs. It's not like it's some cutting-edge technology. You guys over there just didn't care to implement it. Shame on you for acting like it's the user's fault when you clearly didn't bother making it work on your end.

    So, there's a /third/ app to use... also, it did finally let me set a keybind-but it only detects the keyboard and not the mouse. I like to use a mouse button on the side of my mouse, since it's easy to press & no games tend to use them. Guess this app can't detect mouse buttons, though. Oh well, at least I have a button to press now. I'll give you a half-thanks.

    console companion is the better choice plus when you use game bar if you click out of the bar to play the game and you have push to talk enabled the game bar has to be open for you to talk. or you could always download the xbox beta app.

    Captures work fine when not streaming. The problem is down to how the game bar and xbox console companion app work together . The game bar doesn't know what game I am streaming

    Do you have links to these videos please? It is very frustrating having an app that doesn't work when the alternative (the Xbox Console Companion) has no push-to-talk feature.
