Purple and green textures/lighting

On my xbox one X in 4k on 2 separate games so far (nier automata and red dead redemption) when certain textures load they flash purple and/or green briefly. It does not happen if I turn the resolution to 1080p. I have tried different inputs and hdmi cables
and both enabled and disabled 10bit and pc rgb. It has not done this on any other game (madden 18, dishonored, state of decay 2, sea of thieves, assassins creed origins all do not have the issue). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Lightning Tiles challenge August 6 solution?

There's 5 lightning tile pairs and I get the first 2 done (green and purple) and then i keep clearing tiles but the game is over because no more moves.

The 5 lightning tiles are:

53 (blue)

46 (red)

26 (purple)

36 (green)

50 (gold)

It feels like its impossible. What do I do

also if there is 6 lighting tile pairs what color is the 6th lightning tile

You can try completely uninstalling and reinstalling the affected games. A possibility is that some texture files may be corrupt. See if that helps.

I assume you are using a 4K-HDR display? The "PC RGB" option should generally only be set if you are playing on a computer monitor. Do you see the flashing textures when HDR is enabled?

Whenever I read and hear about graphical glitches, the worst case scenario is that the GPU may be showing signs of failing, and the console would have to be sent in for

Yes I have a 4k hdr display. In Nier Automata it's almost a lighting thing rather than a texture thing. It is still there with Hdr off in 4k. If I change to 1080p it no longer happens.

Arvin, you can test these processes below

Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. Apps and Features in Settings.

Select the application you want to fix.

Select the Advanced Options link under the application name (some applications do not have this option). On the page that opens, select Repair if available.

Once the Reset is done, you will see a check sign next to the Reset button. And restart the PC

1.On the desktop, simultaneously press Windows + R keys to open Run;

2. In run, type cleanmgr and click OK to open Disk Cleanup;

3. In the Disk Cleanup window, select the C: drive (if prompted) and click OK;

4. In the Disk Cleanup for Windows 10 window, select the checkboxes of the presented files and click Clean System Files.

5. After cleaning, check the unchecked checkboxes again and click OK>Delete Files.

If it doesn't work, you can try reinstalling the game, friend.

Hey phrack3r ,

Switch on the A30 Wireless Headset.

Switch on the A30 LIGHTS **** Transmitter, ensuring it's in Xbox mode indicated by the green light.

Press and hold down the transmitter button until the LED changes to purple.

Press and hold down the Power and Bluetooth button on the headset until the LED flashes purple.
