pure pool

Has anyone else bought this game i think its great just wondering about others thoughts..?

Pure Pool

Found a video on the game and figured I would share. The game will feature some very nice graphics as well as something similar to Drivatars, where you compete while not playing.

 

Just downloaded it and not played it yet but I'm trying to sort a pool league if your interested?

 

Got it on ps4 a while back but gave up on it, the AI on higher difficulties is god like. I don't mind a challenge but that game is ridiculous. Online is fun with a mate though.

 

I bought it on Friday and to be honest, the game leaves a lot to be desired. The physics are abysmal, the camera angles doesn't give any peripheral vision, the ambience in the background makes my ears bleed and the lack of EPA reds n yellows is criminal.
Most importantly, the game needs a top down view - not for aiming or lining up shots, more for knowing the layout of the table. I'll carry on playing it til I feel I've had my £8's worth.

It's good, what there is of it! I think a 'bigger' game at a higher price point would also be good but it is good value for money... Not without problems though:

All yesterday (Sunday) I was lucky to complete 50% of the multi player games I started as they kept bombing out with a server connection error.

My Avatar is an outline of a player with apparently no way of changing it or it picking up my player picture from xbox live.

My Avatar has a permanent green speaker icon displayed. This is despite me not having an active headset connected to a controller and it isn’t from Kinect either as I turned that off (it is just the same if I do connect a headset) How do I fix this?

 

Time to hold ones hands up - there is a reds and yellows mode! It's just playable online and in casual matches against the AI and its called Blackball....but....it's still played on the American 9 ball table so technically it isn't really proper UK pool.
Therefore I'd still rather boot the first Xbox up to play a bit of pub pool!

 

Does anyone know how to play offline multiplayer (i.e. with a physical person sat next to you in the room (not the "DNA" of an online person)) on this game?

I bought it looking to play a game with my GF but we can't work out how to set up a proper game offline. You can do free-mode but you've got to play 8 ball pool, they don't keep scores, etc.

It's the whole point I bought the game but it seems they haven't built it in?! Hopefully I'm just being dense.

 

Steezy just bring up the menu then highlight players then you will see player 2 at the top press a and you will have the option to play any of the game modes at the end of the frame just press x for rematch and it will keep the scores
