Purchasing Xbox Live Content from PC

Hi,

I've been looking to change my Gamertag for a while now. When I first created my Xbox Live profile I chose BackwoodsGaming because I wanted that to be my YouTube name. Little did I know that nearly five other people had already taken it. Also, I had no idea
it would cost $10 to change it again. Also, my mom doesn't want to put her PayPal info into my Xbox 360, so what I was wondering was this: Is there any way to change your gamertag for $10 from the computer, just like you can purchase Xbox Live Gold from the
computer?

Thanks for any help I get, and sorry if there was already a post like this somewhere, but I never found one.

Downloading content to your pc.

if you mean downloading xbox live content to a pc nope

content must be downloaded to a xbox so its associated with a purchasing console

Burnout 3 - Downloaded - Does not work

I have followed the steps from here:

neither have resolved the issue.

Sorry, but no. You can only make the change on the console.

FYI, even if you use your mom's Paypal on the PC, it would be the same as if you used it through the console itself.

Buying content on Xbox.com just sends the content directly to your console and you would have to download it there once connected to the internet. There is no way to download content directly from a PC to a thumbdrive. There is no way for you to access DLC
on your account if you do not have LIVE because no matter where you purchase the content from, it would need to be downloaded on your Xbox. You can take your Xbox to somewhere that has internet, buy the content, download it, and then you are set, but that
is really your only option.
