Purchasing through Xbox app

Until recently I could make purchases/ initiate downloads through the xbox app. For the last couple of months this feature has not worked and any attempt at purchasing/ downloading is greeted with the message: Something went wrong when loading this page

I waited, thinking there would be and update to solve the issue. I really miss this ability, so much that I'm here looking for awnsers. Thanks for any help or advice, in advance.

How do I sort xbox one games in the marketplace?

I use the Xbox one smart glass for my purchases and I find scrolling through the game lost much easier. I haven't touched the store on the actual xbone since the smart glass app started allowing purchases.

Gears of War 2 missing

Entered the codes I received for purchasing Gears of War 4 Ultimate Edition and am missing Gears of War 2 in my games library, GoW1,3 and Judgement all worked however. I've tried through both the xbox app (on pc) and the website but keep getting an already
redeemed error!

Apologies for the late reply, are you still seeing this error appear?

If so, what app version are you on, what OS version if your device on, and what is the make and model of the device you are seeing this issue on?

Post that info if you are still running into issues an we are happy to look into this with you!

Thanks tried this. Can't make a purchase through xbox store but amazon bypasses this and still allows purchases through the app.

That is what is so strange -- it does not show there (ready to d/l) and shows in the store as requiring purchase. Fairly sure I purchased through Xbox One app on my phone when it was on sale many weeks ago. Are receipts emailed for games purchased through
the app? I have checked my M/S account and email but no receipts / confirmations not there for other games purchased through app...

if you purchase madden 24 on the Xbox app, you purchased the console version.

EA runs their own titles on PC, and you would've had to of have purchased it through their app,

Cloud play is possible on Pc via the app, and that's the console version

Did you make this purchase through the Xbox movie app? If so, have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the app?
