    Purchasing through gift cards


    Heys guys, I'm currently having trouble purchasing from the Xbox store. I currently have 75 dollars on my account and I wanna purchase Ori and Blind Forest which is 20 dollars. But every time I go to check out, the only payment options available are through
    credit card or paypal. Can anyone tell what to do, please?

    Purchased something through a promotion and did not receive the promotion.

    I recently purchased 1000 V-Bucks for $9.99 through Mixer’s 24/7 HypeZone Fortnite stream and it said that I’d receive a $5 gift card for purchasing them but I never received the gift card.

    Visa Gift Card

    As of 12/26/13 it is not allowing me to use a Visa gift card( compatible with online purchasing) to purchase anything through Xbox Live Marketplace.

    If you click it it will guide you to getting support from people who work for Microsoft.

    I know exactly what the problem is. You see the gift card is ONLY for digital products. This isn't explained when you purchase gift certificates and there is nowhere to find this info on them but I had $150 in my account through gift certificates and I purchased
    a game only to be charged on my credit card. I thought it was just a simple error and contacted support through the chat service. After about an hour and a supervisor they told me I had the wrong department and I needed to call the store so they gave me a
    number to call. After about an hour on the phone and another supervisor they said it was in their terms of use policy. I asked where and I was hung up on. I called back and after another hour and them apologizing numerous times for my inconvenience and by
    this time obvious frustration they said there was nothing I could do because according to their fine print somewhere gift certificates are Only for Digital Products.

    So the real money you spend on the scam gift cards can only be used to purchase ( if you've noticed ) higher priced digital games. The game I want is on sale now Forza 6 for $54.00 but if I use the gift certificate account money for the same game its $74.00
    digitally from the same Microsoft store ythat has it on sale physically.. Avoid gift certificates from this scam company that uses hidden fine print to solve their customer issues.

    Normally the Visa gift cards that are purchased at stores like that do not work for purchases on Xbox and this is through the Bank that handles the gift card because they are thinking that you are trying to purchase a renewing subscription and these types
    of purchases can not be made with the gift cards like that.

    I bought a digital gift card for XBox from Amazon by mistake. Amazon won’t refund it, they have told me to contact. XBox, I have tried to get a call back to discuss on XBox but nothing happens.

    Amazon does their gift cards through a third party gift card vendor that most major retailers use for online gift card purchases. Any refund details would be in the email containing the code
