Purchasing MS Flight Sim via GamePass for PC

If I purchase MS Flight Sim 20 through my active GamePass for PC, will (a) the current installation remain valid and intact, ,(b) I be able to cancel my GamePass subscription if I only use the MS Flight Sim app and also (c) continue to receive the frequent ongoing updates and patches?

Yes, the game will receive frequent updates, nothing will change!

Also, you will be able to cancel the subscription anytime you want; the license of the game will be under your account as long as you purchased it!

if you never purchased flight sim and got it through gamepass pc, then you need an active sub to continue using it, also yes you need to be signed in to use gamepass pc games.

Flight sim isnt compatible on Xbox One except through streaming via Xbox Cloud Gaming if you have a gamepass ultimate subscription

Microsoft 365 is the subscription service for productivity, items like Skype, OneDrive and Office

No version of Flight Sim or any games appear on it

The only version of Flight Sim on GamePass is 2020, which is unlikely to change
