    Purchasing items from MSFS


    This may not be the right place to deal with this. However, I’m at the end of my rope on addressing this issue.
    I use MSFS through Steam. However, my gamer tag name for xbox is fredfredsouth. That name shows up when playing MSFS. For some reason my computer locks up when ever I try to buy something from the games catalog. I’ve tried everything Steam has recommended
    but nothing works. I’m trying like hell to buy stuff but can’t. I have begged for help but get nothing useful from Steam. I have to close down and start over.

    Any help will be sincerely appreciated. I’m dying to buy the new Waco.

    I had a problem and I wanted to save my "Community " folder before reinstalling msfs. When I tried to copy and save the folder, I got the above error. And Yes I need the community folder as it contains all my add on not purchased from msfs store. Surely you are not suggesting the community folder is proprietary when most of the contents there are mines.

    MSFS 2020 directs to Gaming Services in Microsoft Store

    Ok. That allowed MSFS to start. Now MSFS is giving me a message that a required update is needed and to update from the Microsoft store. But I've run the updates from the store and it says everything is up to date and MSFS doesn't give me an option to trigger a manual update.

    So now what?
