Purchasing games/DLC for others

I am an Australian with an Australian account.

I would like to purchase the Destiny Rise of Iron DLC digitally for some friends. Some of them are in Australia but some aren't.

Is there any way to do so? If not, is there any workaround?

Game add-ons

No you only get two licenses one for the purchasing console and one for the purchasing gamertag

All profiles on the purchasing console can use the dlc but only the purchasing gamertag is portable and can use the dlc everywhere so unless you only have 2 consoles this will not work

Will my son be able to play my x360 games?

as long as both accounts are on the purchasing console then both accounts can access any games bought and or DLC for said games.

 

The easiest way I know is to do it on a computer.

You will need to be able to log into your friends xbox accounts.

You purchase the game on your friends accounts and when they get on their consoles the game will be in the ready to install section.

Another way is to buy multiple codes on amazon or at a game store and send each of them a code.

I believe you can even gift them through Amazon of they all have accounts.

Asking for friends details is not a good idea, it was against the ToS last time I checked. I would suggest buying codes and give them the codes.

 

You could just purchase gift cards and send them the codes. Asking for their info is against the ToS.

local currency is good solution for gifting your friends something on Xbox Live.

 

You can purchase prepaid codes from etailer like cdkeys or Amazon depending on the region

Make sure it matches your region you want
