Purchasing game on Xbox One console Store

I have been a rewards member ever since the program launched back with the Xbox 360. Now I have an Xbox One and buy 95% of my games digitally. My question is do I get reward points when I buy/pre-order the games from the Xbox One store or do I have to log
into my PC to pre-order and buy the games?

Can you get banned for Buying from the UK to US?

Since the program is tied to your account, it will recognize your purchases no matter where you make them. So it doesn't matter if you use the console or xbox.com. All that matters is that the purchases are either eligible for an offer on the site at the
time or you qualify for VIP rebates.

I can confirm Smwutches' statement. Furthermore, since it sounds like you may be unfamiliar with the current Rewards program, you can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. By earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders,
game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. In September 2015, we made some refinements to the program. One change that happened was an adjustment of MyVIP purchase thresholds.
If you did not reach any MyVIP ranks with your purchases from September 2014-August 31st 2015, you were placed at a default rank. Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress
at (Xbox Live Rewards).

Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals.

Hi there,

the game UFC 3 is not a Xbox Play Anywhere game, so if you purchase it on the Windows Store you will only be able to play it on the PC.

If you purchase the Xbox One version via the Xbox Store then you can only play it on the Xbox One console.

I purchased the game on my xbox one console through the xbox store. I got a receipt of purchase and downloaded the game but there were no extras or code to redeem in the email.
