    Purchasing game brings up error code 0x80004005


    Hey everyone,

    I'm trying to purchase Tekken 6 for the Xbox One and it gives me this error on the website before i try to confirm the purchase.

    Also trying to get the game on the console doesn't load the purchase screen after i hit confirm on the backward-compatible screen.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    0x80004005 cant play games xbox game pass

    I have seen this error code from back with Windows XP and the original Xbox. On the PC the error can come up with extracting zip files, copying files from disk to disk etc.

    According tp MSFT, this code may apply to activation, but this exists in other areas as well. It may be caused by disk error, or folder permissions.
