    Purchasing from 360 Marketplace


    I never owned the xbox 360, was a firm Playstation 3 player. Then when the only oppurtunity I had for a NextGen console came along it was for the Xbone. I really enjoy the system and have sunk quite a few Prepaid xbox cards into my game collection that
    is pretty solid. I like the backwards compatibility so I can play all those games I never played before. The problem I have is that I can NOT buy any games through the xbox 360 Marketplace using prepaid cards. Prepaid cards are what I get as part of
    my "Good Husband" allowance so they are what I use for games. Is there ever gonna be a change so that I can purchase games without having to buy an xbox360 to use the prepaid cards. It wont let me purchase from the website or the xboxone store and it
    is a bit frustrating. I just want to buy a couple games using money that Microsoft already got from me. I like the argument of "Honey, I have to use the debit card to buy it, it wont let me use these white cards" The problem is the wife wont cave to that
    argument. And No, I dont want to try again with a "new wife" already doing that.

    To purchase xbox 360 games that are part of backwards compatibility for xbox one, you need to have a valid method of payment linked to your account (a credit card). That is the only possibility for the moment if you don't have an xbox 360.

    P.S As for the domestic dispute the xbox service forum is hardly the place to discuss such an issue.
