Purchasing for grandson

I have $100.00 in my xbox account. I will never use it. How do I use this money for a gift to my grandson? Can I purchase a game, etc. and send it to him or to his account?

Basically, how can I use the money in my account for someone else?

When you choose the item you wanna purchase there’s an option to gift it. You put in his gamer tag or email address and your present will arrive

I purchased the Minecraft game on Amazon not on Microsoft but I redeemed the code. How can I transfer the code to my grandson?

I'm not familiar with the game but did your grandson purchase the 6000 Pearl's while trying to buy in game items.

For example he wanted to buy a house and recieved a prompt to purchase the pearls.
