    Purchasing DLC with Xbox Credit


    I made a purchase via Xbox.com, this morning, but it would only allow me to pay by card. I’ve got £50 in my account, but there was no option to select this to make the payment.

    I’ve tested this on other DLC I’m looking to purchase & I’m still only receiving the option to pay by card.

    Prepaid credit/debit cards may not work with purchasing on Xbox LIVE as some do not allow online purchasing or recurring payments.

    Can't Authorize Payment

    Hey, I´ve got the same problem. There has never been a problem with purchasing DLC content and microsoft points with my credit card but now (for three days now) it only says "Can't authorize the selected payment option..."

    I’ve never come across this before.

    I’ve previously used Xbox credit on Xbox.com before to purchase DLC & last month I used a mixture of Xbox Credit & funds from my card.

    The website has never been updated to use the currency system for 360 content. You will have to use the console to select that as a payment method.

    Daft is correct any refund will always go back as credit towards future purchase for Xbox products (live gold, DLC, games etc).
