    Backward compatible glitch

Hi there, just wondering if anyone else is having trouble purchasing backwards compatible titles off the xboxlive market place. When i hit to see the price, the page refreshes or a white glitch page comes up preventing me from purchasing any titles.

Anyone know how to solve this issue?

    Thankyou.

Can't use my Xbox gift cards to purchase Backwards compatibility titles.

    Hey there Arcanegon.

Sorry to hear the frustrations, I'm afraid as of now there isn't a way to use your balance to purchase Backward Compatible titles. You'll need to use a different purchasing method for that.

    Hey there, Pvt Draeger!

That error message is common when it comes to a region mismatch on an account. A region mismatch is when the Xbox account is set to a region that the user isn't located in. This happens over multiple scenarios depending on what situation you're in.

    We suggest attempting a
    region migration
to ensure your account is set to the region you are physically located in. Once you do that, you will be able to purchase Xbox 360 games, most of which are region locked.

    There are some
    stipulations
that come with this. Some people are in professions where they travel around the world for work, like military employees, and this could impact your ability to use other games in other regions. For military people specifically, we suggest doing
    the account migration if they are going to stay in their duty location for more than 3 months. However, we also suggest that users who do not want to change their region attempt to use base internet as it's generally using a VPN and spoofing a US IP address;
users in this state would want to make the purchase off the website instead of lugging their Xbox One around.

Let me know how this works for you! I'm happy to help further if you run into any other snags. Purchasing Backward compatible titles :)

hello! Thank you for the help! I tried this and it is telling me I cannot purchase now because I don't have a valid payment option. Plus everything is in a different language on the website and every time I switch to English or switches back shortly after.
same with currency. It's all in foreign currency now as well

  6. I'm sorry to see further frustrations! For the time being, you'll have to ensure you purchase currency in your physical region. Region migrations have time limitations on them for how often you can do them, and this should only affect purchasing Xbox 360
titles. I get that since the sale for BC items started today, this might cause more frustrations. However, if you have a payment option for your current region, or an Xbox 360 in which you can use currency on, this shouldn't have too much of an impact.

Region issues end up being a weird situation. Hopefully I've explained next steps best, but if you need anything clarified, please ask! Purchasing Backward compatible titles :)

Can't find game I just purchased on Xbox website

    Hello carlislemom2003,

360 demos of titles are not backwards compatible with the Xbox One. If you wish to play Sonic, you will need to purchase the full game title as that is what is backwards compatible.

I have 22$ in my Microsoft account try to get game but it won't let me use code bc I already redeemed it plus it says game is unavailable

What is the game you're trying to buy? If it's a backwards compatible title then you cannot use currency on your account to purchase it unless you're on an Xbox 360 console. Also, please be aware that not all backwards compatible titles are available
in all regions due to governmental restrictions. Although the Xbox One is a region free console this does not apply to backwards compatible titles

cannot buy anything from the microsoft store even though i have money.

Backward compatible titles can't be purchased with prepaid cards.

You'll need a creditcard or paypal for these kind of purchases.
