    Purchasing backward compatibility games on my xbox one


    Hi, I was trying to make a purchase on xbox one shop and website with all the necessary details using credit/debit, but all it say is I dont have a valid payment. Though I have it all entered on microsoft and xbox one. What is the solution for this problem?
    Dont know if it has anything to do with my region. I live in Australia. But if I try to buy a game which is xbox one compatible there are no problems like this occurs.

    Hey there freakyboy86,

    Backwards Compatibility only works for full titles that are available on the backwards compatibility list. Game Demos are not included in the backwards compatibility feature. If you want to try a specific Xbox 360 game out before purchasing and downloading,
    you will need to download the demo on an actual Xbox 360 console.

    If the Xbox 360 games you purchased are backwards compatible on Xbox One you will be able to play them.

    How to buy Oblivion for xbox one x ?

    The One store/website have never been updated to work with the currency system for backwards compatible content. The only way to purchase backwards compatible games with the funds on your account is through a 360 console.

    Oblivion is backwards compatible so it will work on the One X. You can view a list of backwards compatible games at https://www.xbox.com/xbox-one/backward-compatibility/available-games

    If you purchase an Xbox 360 Game that is
    compatible with Xbox One, you will be able to access the content on the Xbox One. Unfortunately, that game is not in the backwards compatible library.
