Purchasing an xbox one. Is now the right time?

If you did something to get booted from the ambassador program or banned from live then you have no one to blame but yourself. Do not discourage others gslayer because you *** up.

I've had my X1 since Day One and the only problems I've had was with COD: Ghosts and that stupid black screen/freezing thing. But I haven't played Ghosts in over a month; been busy playing Destiny.no more freezing, black screens. .

My controller was squeaky but I just replaced it with a new one and problem solved...I go through controllers so I needed one.

I've had fun playing my X1 and I love Kinect for voice commands. It works for me like 98% of the time. It's a good system and there are lots of good games coming out now. The system has been out for almost a year and I believe the games are only going
to get better looking and more interesting. I sort of wish I had waited for a special edition like I had with my 360 but I would have missed out on some fun playing my X1. Perfect time to buy an X1.

Warning the moving parts on this product make noise, like any other products.

But this one is 400$ so it should not make a peep..... Now is not the time to buy!

Thank you all, You have made me fell at ease with these comments. I guess when you read one flaw in a system your mind tends to play tricks on you. I will most likely close this thread since the "issue" if any at all was just affecting a few people and was
not so wide spread as i thought.

First I've heard of this rampant issue?? Sure Xbox One can and do go wrong but you could buy a brand new Bentley today and something could go wrong, just a fact of life. I believe though the issues that have been seen with the Xbox One so far are nowhere
near as bad as the RROD on the Xbox 360.

So if this is what's stopping you then I'd say don't worry and go for it, well providing that the games on offer now appeal to you, I wouldn't buy any console unless it had a decent line up of games that appealed to "me"

Fan issue is a hardware problem...not going to be "fixed" by a software update. None of these "problems" are even remotely at the same scale of RROD.
