Purchasing a gift via xbox store

If you want to gift dlc for the Steam version you need to purchase the content and gift it via Steam. It can not be done via the Xbox store.

Gifting via Xbox Live is regionally locked, so that will not work.

In case you are referring to a physical gift card, so not via Xbox Live but a different store, then it can both be region free, but also regionally locked. The person purchasing it should check that at the store.

I am from Poland (Central Europe) and I tried to do all the purchases via official Microsoft website or via Asphalt 9: Legends - game from Microsoft store.
