Purchasing a game on demand

I am looking to purchase GTA 5 on demand. I have $22 in my account which I would like to apply to this purchase, and then I'll cover the rest with my debit card.

My question is: How do I know that the $22 is being applied to the purchase before taking money out of my banking account? It seems as though purchasing the game is $60 on my bank account, regardless of how much is currently in my xbox account.

Right, games on demand do not require the disc. As long as all the accounts are on the original console that you download the content on, then they should all have access.

I'm kinda new to xbox so i was wondering, when i buy a game on demand, the game simply gets downloaded to the console and doesn't require a disc and if i purchase it with one of my accounts, will i be able to use it with my other account on the same console?

I don't really know if you can actually do what you would like to do, I think it all has to happen through one transfer, not through your Xbox account and then debit card.

When you go to buy it it will ask if you want to use the balance in your account,click "yes" then it will charge your debit card the rest.

License transfer in this situation wouldn't do anything because the content would need to be in your download history for that license transfer to even be effective.

If the content is not listed in your purchase history then it means that you did not purchase this content on this account.

Unfortunately, if it's not coming up as listed on the site linked then there would be no way to re-download it. That page shows every piece of downloaded content I have ever purchased or even downloaded a trial version of back to 2006 when I first created my
account.

When games on demand titles are purchased from Microsoft you get an e-mail to your registered Microsoft Account e-mail confirming the purchase, you may want to go take a look to see if you can find that and match it with your current account as some sort of
proof if you intend to contact phone support to correct some sort of error if there has been one. Otherwise there would be no way of knowing if you had or hadn't played it from another XBOX or used a disc copy of the game etc. Achievements do not hold that
sort of data.

i will check my download history as soon as i can and see whats there, i just looked at my recent activity on my account which ive had for atleast four year on the website and i can see ive played halo wars in 2010 and have a bunch of achievements so im
fairly certain this is the account i purchased it on. Ive had 3 different Xbox 360's consoles, i believe i bought it on the first one, so do i need to transfer the license?

Give this a shot and see if it shows up. I had to do what you did ( different game) and everything was fine.
