Purchasing a game for my account from a friend's console

Hi guys. I'm just curious about this since I will be away from my main console for a few weeks.

My question is: Is it possible for me to purchase a game for myself while logged into my account on someone else's Xbone? I don't need to download it on my friend's console or anything. I just want it to be available for me (on my account) when I get
back to my console. Is this possible at all, or do I just have to wait?

Question about sharing Destiny on two different 360s

I plan on buying Destiny and my friend is gonna download it from me. Apparently, if you wanna play Destiny on another console on your account, you have to be signed on at all times on the account that purchased it, where as if you wanna play it on the console that you purchased Destiny on, you can sign on any accounts no problem to play it.

Now this is just what I heard, but I'm confused because my friend managed to download other games from me that I had purchased and play it without any problems. She had to sign onto my account to download it, but once she was finished, she could hop back onto her account and play it with no problems.

 

I want to replace my Original Xbox One with a One S or an X but i am worried about my Home Xbox Settings.

The steps JhonSnow777 describe are for transferring licenses from one Xbox 360 to another, which won't work in your case.

On an Xbox One (OG, S, or X), if you want to play the games that have been purchased, the purchasing account has to make the console it's home console, or the purchasing account has to be logged into the console.

If the games were purchased on your friend's account, your friend will need to make the new console his account's home console, other wise his account will need to be logged in for you to play them.

Yes, you can do this. You can even purchase the game from
http://store.xbox.com and download/play it on your own console later.

You can download all games you own wherever you are, but in order to play them you will need to be signed into Xbox Live, with the exception of your Home Xbox (your own console) where any account can play them, both online and offline. So if you purchase
a game while on your friend's console you could download and play it there, and still have unrestricted access to it on your own console when you return home.
