    Purchasing a 240V Xbox 360 power supply


    I was told that Microsoft would not sell me a 240V power supply while I was in the United States. I'm in Africa now, so I'm trying to figure out how to order one. (A lot of accessories are listed on the support section of the Xbox website; however, I don't
    see power supply as one of them.)

    Power Usage in Xbox One

    The voltage of the power supply generally depends on where you live in the world.

    Microsoft has three PSU bricks - 100-110V, 220-240V, and 100-240V versions

    100-110V is mainly for North America

    220-240V is for mainly UK and Europe

    100 - 240V is global

    Microsoft doesn't support using third party power supplies
    support.xbox.com/.../about-power-supply     so using one of them is not advised.

    AC power standard to the DC power required by the console. An Xbox One power supply designed to run in a 240v region will provide the correct DC power to the console.

    Note that the Xbox One power supplies are not worldwide compatible from an AC input perspective. A US power brick will not work in a 240v region.

    Xbox is saying it supports 100-240V 50/60Hz then this should be
    OK to use in a country with a different voltage and all you will need
    to do is obtain a suitable power cable.

    If your purchasing an original Xbox One that had the separate
    power supply then a new power supply will be required.

    XBOX ONE DON'T POWER ON

    Hi

    Xbox One consoles purchased in europe come supplied with a 220-240v power supply and North America uses the 110v system so if you replace the power supply for your console it should then work.

    If you do not want to replace the power supply then the new Xbox One S console supports both 110v and 220v.

    All you need is an official 360 power supply designed to run on 240v power outlets. They will 100% work with your U.S console.
