    Purchasing 360 games for my One


    I've been trying to purchase Crysis 3 from the website, but it keeps saying "Is this your first purchase? To ensure it is compatible, please sign in to Xbox Live using your console and try again.' Now I don't have a 360, but I was under the impression that
    Xbox One users would be allowed to download the Games with Gold for 360 in preparation for backwards compatibility. In fact I have been doing so since the announcement with no problems. Any ideas why I'm having problems this time?

    Boring event. Still not interested in Kinect, lack of games shown..not convinced of purchasing one yet. I'll stick with my 360 for now

    You have to check compatibility with your console because of the region checks

    You need to have a console via friend or rental

    They never implied you could yet

    They said that would be at launch at the e3 conference

    I had an issue once purchasing games on my xbox one that were 360 games but was able to purchase them on my old 360 console then download them on my xbox one. you can also try purchasing them online from your computer instead.

    You cannot purchase xbox 360 games on the xbox one yet. To get an xbox 360 game, you have to purchase from the xbox 360 store on xbox.com or on an xbox 360 console. Once you have purchased the game, then the game should show in the ready to install section

    I am having the same problems. I cannot purchase Xbox 360 games on my Xbox One X or my PC whether or not they are free, but there are no problems in purchasing Xbox One games.
