purchases not correctly showing

Make sure it shows up correctly in your purchases and if it's right it should show up in your ready to download in your My Games & Apps.

still no go. Still showing I have to purchase it. It's like the free redemption didn't go through correctly.

Very similar problem, I purchased a €5 gift card on Friday to test whether I could buy an Xbox with it on the Microsoft store. It worked, so I told my friends to gift me those gift cards. I redeemed a total of two gift cards worth €20 each, both of which
do not show up When trying to purchase a console. There it only gives me €5. When trying to purchase a game, it shows me €25, which is still €20 short. I talked to Microsoft support yesterday evening and we went through some steps, but sadly it did not work.
So I can’t use the €40 gift cards as expected, and 20 seem to be entirely lost somehow.

Same here... we added £30 to one of childs accounts. It shows in the online store and on the laptop but when you go to make an in game purchase, in this case some V-Bucks, it show the balance as still £2.63 and not £32.63 as it does in the store?

Very frustrated child and just can't seem to resolve the problem!

be sure to check if the transaction for the purchase went through correctly at the transactions at
http://account.microsoft.com

Also keep in mind that sometimes it can take some time before the change will show up in all places and sometimes requires a redownload of the profile (if new GT isn't showing on console but is showing on xbox.com)

If after 24 hours the new Gamertag still isn't showing and the purchase went through correctly then it's best to contact Xbox Support via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat at
