Purchases after License transfer

So My girlfriend and I licensed transferred about a week or two ago, we both own our own xbox 360s, & she just bought GTA V on her xbox & had me download it on my xbox using her account, but when i went to go play it, it didn't let me.

I don't know if i need to license transfer again or if it's something else that's happaning.

Does Purchasing A Game Make that Console Licensed?

It transfers all licenses you had at the time that you perform the transfer. When you buy content after performing the transfer, the license for that content will be attached to whatever console you purchase it on.

Confused about sharing digital games and license transfer

Okay, can someone clear this up about transfering licenses for the 360? Let's say I wanna share Destiny with my friend. I buy the digital copy and I download it. Then my friend on her own separate 360 goes onto my account and downloads it. Now she did a license transfer to her account. She should be able to log onto her own account after she's done playing Destiny and play it. People are saying you would have to be on the account that purchased it to play it, and you have to be connected to Xbox Live at all time, unless you were on the console where the game was first purchased on, then it would be available for all the profiles on that console. Are they including if you do a license transfer or not? Because to my knowledge, once you do a license transfer on let's say account A to console B, then any accounts on console B can play any games that account A owns.

You would have to wait until you can license transfer again. The licenses are tied to the account that the game is purchased on as well as the console it was purchased on. Since she purchased it on her Xbox, the licenses are tied to that console.

The license transfer would have only transferred licenses for anything that was purchased/downloaded before the transfer. Anything downloaded after the transfer would be licensed to his console. So even if it is part of the season pass, if he originally
downloaded it on his console then it would be tied to that console.

I thought we could only transfer licenses once every four months. If that is the case, I transferred my licenses in December after I purchased a larger hard drive.

This is common occurance with Sega arcade games. Try doing a license transfer.

1. On your console, sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.

Go to Settings and select Account.

Under Your Billing Options, select License Transfer.

Follow the instructions to transfer the content licenses.

After the licenses are transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licenses. For information about how to do this, see Download content you’ve previously purchased.
