Purchased Xbox Live Gold but Xbox Fitness workouts still won't work

I purchased an Xbox Live Gold membership last night, in hopes of trying out Xbox Fitness. Successfully purchased the membership (double checked online as well), but when I try to play one of the "10 Minute Solution" fitness games, the only option is then
a "Xbox Fitness: Get Unlimited Access Now" box, and when I click on that, I'm taken to a screen that tells me to "Get Unlimited Access to Xbox Fitness with Xbox Live Gold," etc. The two choices are then "Get XBox Live Gold" or "Cancel," both of which take
me to the previous screen (super annoying). It's been 24 hours since I purchased my membership, so can't imagine that it's a "waiting for the systems to catch up" kind of deal. Any suggestions? I tried powering off with the controller then turning on again.
Is there a difference between turning Xbox off via the controller and actually unplugging (perhaps I should unplug next?).

Xbox gold members

Certain workouts that were free for Gold users last year are now paid, see Xbox Fitness Beachbody workouts, free to overpriced,

Xbox Fitness is still free for Gold users in the sense that there is no fitness subscription fee as the original plan was. MOSSA, 10 Minute Solution, Gatorade and Athlete Fit is still available for free to Gold users. Other content can be bought a la carte.

 

Xbox Live Gold not working

I subscribe to Xbox Gold Live. I use xbox fitness every day. Today I try to do a workout and it says I need Xbox Live Gold. (which I do). I click on "Get Xbox Live Gold" and it shows my subscription is good and will renew 1/24/15. Go back to the workouts
but I still can't do any of them. It still says I need to upgrade. URGH!

What can I do to fix this?

 

Are you able to access any other Gold Apps? netflix? play a game online, etc? Do you have your ID loaded right on the xbox?

I have found that a full power off (hold the power button for 10 seconds, wait 30 seconds, power back on) fixes a LOT of issues.

 

Not the only one mate. Had a gold membership for over 2 years, got the new xbox yesterday and i'm also having this issue.

 

Do you have the standby power mode on? If so, maybe completely shutting down the Xbox works by holding the power button for several seconds.

When I bought Gold I needed to reboot too, but it doesn't make much sense if you already had gold for two years.

 

Ended up trying the old "turn it off, turn it on" trick by holding down the power button and then restarting. Worked like a CHAMP. Silly computers. Thanks for the advice, all.
