Purchased monter Hunter world digitally, now it requires a disk or for me to rebuy it

try a hard restart on your console. Also go to your Microsoft account and check you purchases and see if can redownload from there

There are people in the world, who have X box 360s with non-functioning disk drives that require digital downloads to play!! If they don't release it digitally, that's a HUGE majority of people who won't buy the software. It's that simple. It needs a digital
release.

When you purchased Monster Hunter World: Iceborne did you also buy the base game? I believe that Iceborne is DLC content and the base Monster Hunter World game is required to play it (unless you purchased the Master Edition version which comes with the game).

If you do own the Monster Hunter World, then Gamepass is not required and I first suggest you do the following:

1. Remove your profile from the console

2. Power cycle/ reset your console

3. Add your profile and sign in.

If this does not work, then you may need to re-install Monster Hunter World.

Pretty sure your disks will be rendered obsolete as the model you are considering won't be able to run them. I would recommend either getting the console with a disk drive or sell your games and rebuy digital copies.

From a cost perspective, buying the console with the disk drive would be the preferable choice.

If it is a disk game and you are trying to transfer to an xbox one s digital or the xbox series s then no you are waisting your time

Those are digital only consoles and disks installs require the bluesy or dvd to validate the install

Digitally purchased game's can be transfered to save time yes

If it's to an xbox one x or regular xbox one s or xbox series x disk and digital will work with them
