Destiny is looking like its gonna be a big

Micro transactions fueled game. With the many types of armor, and guns and different types of currencies in the game, I guarantee that one of those currencies is gonna only be purchasable with real money, or they will use a new currency on launch that only is purchasable with money on launch. Micro transactions suck, lets face it, it ruins the game, and that alone is making me wait to see what happens on launch or a few months into launch of the game.
Anyone agree? or have proof to tell me im wrong?

Xbox rewards program updated

Many of you may remember how due to the change from Microsoft points to actual currency, the rewards program was shut down. Well it's now back with a whole new reward scheme. Awarding gamers with everything from currency credit to discounts on purchases. The basic idea is everything you do gives you point and then eventually you can redeem said points in exchange for in-store currency. Your get points for doing everything from making purchases to simply playing games. Gamers with a high gamerscore even get a discount on purchases.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Which game are you attempting to purchase with the currency on the account? If the game is a backwards compatible game, it will need to be purchased on the Xbox 360 in order to use Microsoft currency. If
the game is an Xbox One game, we recommend attempting to complete the purchase on the
Xbox website. Be sure to let us know the results!

Yeah I mean hopefully that doesnt happen but still this is how the email that i recieved from MS goes:

“ To complete the return, your game or virtual currency purchase will be removed. If virtual currency was used to purchase an item, the item will be removed, and the purchase price will be restored to your in-game wallet prior to the refund.” So hopefully
not as i’ve not done anything wrong.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. In the past, customers were not able to complete a purchase for Xbox Live Gold using the currency on their account. The customer would have to purchase an Xbox Live Gold prepaid code with the currency on
their account and redeem the code. Recently, this method of purchasing an Xbox Live Gold subscription has been changed. Customers are now able to complete a purchase for Xbox Live Gold by using the currency on their account. We hope this helps!

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand have questions about in game currency purchase. We recommend to log out of the game completely and then log back in. If the currency is not there, you will need to reach out to

epic games support. As the currency is from them.
