Purchased games no longer work on new system....

Not too long ago i purchased a pre-owned Slim. My previous Slim's disc drive died, hence the replacement. Taking the internal HDD from my broken system and placing it in the newer system was not a problem. Now for some reason the games i have on the HDD
will not work on any profile. I've license transferred all of the games (even the ones that were downloaded from other profiles). I also re-downloaded the games using the original profiles. I have done everything i know to do to no avail. What else am i missing?
I don't want to have to buy these games again. I shouldn't have to. The new games i have purchased or downloaded work fine for all profiles, all except the games that were already there.

Anyways, if someone can give me some advice on how to fix this, please enlighten me. Thanks.

Forza 5 ?

All I know is that if the Fanatec setup that I dropped over $500 on a couple of years back no longer works with the new system, there'll be no more Forza games in my future.

 

I have two 360s. Can I transfer specific game licenses from console A to console B?

Long story short, I was given a new 360 as a gift and figured I could use it to install some digital games onto that I had deleted from my old 360, which I did and they've worked fine until the internet went down for the past couple of days. The GoD wouldn't
work and all arcade titles turned into demos. I did some research and learned the games will only work offline on the system they were purchased on. Is it possible to transfer the license of certain games to the other system? Both systems only have my account
on them. No one else

so in short you were able to redownload the games with the profiles that initially bought them, but they don't work. Correct?

Please check the storage section on the console for any corrupt/incomplete files and delete those. They will have a yellow icon with exclamation mark. When deleted please clear the console cache via Settings - System - Storage - highlight a storage device
and press Y and select clear cache.

Restart the console afterwards and try to redownload the game.

I did want to ask though. You say you took the internal drive from your old slim and put it in the new one. Does this mean that you cracked the case on both consoles and removed/replaced parts of it? If this is the case no one here can help as discussion
of mods is not allowed.

Correct. That's exactly what is going on. I will go through the games and such and see if they are broken or corrupt. I will respond back with results.

No, i did not need to crack the case for any reason. I just replaced the HDD from the broken Slim to the newer Slim through the HDDD bay on the side of the console. I think you may have confused the HDD with the internal memory unit (the one you have to
open the console to get). My system did not have one. Just the 250GB HDD.

Ok i did it and tested it with Minecraft. That is working now, but NBA2K14 is not working. I'm going to delete the game and all it's data ,clear the cache and redownload it. Hopefully this works.

 

Ok, if it's only one game that keeps failing, be sure to delete it clear cache, download something else, like a couple of demo's and after that try to download the game again

My apologies for the misunderstanding there. It was the use of the words "internal HDD" that confused me. Sometimes we have to be sure.
