The Microsoft Store offer is only for purchases through the Microsoft Store, which is different from purchasing through the Windows 10 Store. Usually Microsoft Store purchases are only physical copies of the game, which may have been eligible for a $10 discount
on future purchases from the Microsoft Store, but this is separate from the digital-only Windows 10 Store.

Did you purchase the game on disc or a digital copy from the Microsoft store? If it was a disc, then you will have to pay for the game again, as Xbox Play Anywhere only works with digital games. If it was a digital copy from the Microsoft Store, then logging
in on Windows 10 with the same account that purchased will let you download it to your Windows 10 device.

Sorry but you'll need to ask for a refund as the game you have bought is for Xbox One only. Only a small selection of Xbox One games can be purchased and used on both systems, these games are listed

While the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 allows you to buy games, most of them are for console. Microsoft does not sell all games available on PC.

Assasins Creed Oddessy for PC can be purchased for download from Steam, uplay or the Epic Store.
